Farmageddon: A sobering documentary which details the struggle of traditional farms to survive in this modern age and the destruction that has on our food choices including the choice to continue to eat locally sourced foods from sustainable producers.
Recently, a Pennsylvania Amish dairy farm, Rainbow Valley, has been one of the targets of the FDA’s aggressive campaign against small farms. In conjunction with the premier of Farmageddon, the buying group, Grassfed On the Hill, that contracts with the farm, is hosting a fundraiser for the legal defense of the farmer who has been served with a permanent injunction to discontinue providing his product to the buying club. Additional information on the raid and the shutdown of the farm HERE.
I am happy to be helping to organize this Grassfed on the Hill fundraiser for my farmer, Dan Allgyer. If you would like to lend a hand, or assist in any way, contact me.
Hope to see you there!
